Toyota Corona is a mid-size car. It had been produced since 1957 till 2002. In Europe it was named Carina II, and later it got the name Carina E. At first Caldina station wagon was produced on base of Corona. Besides, the components and units of Corona were used as the base for the sportier Toyota Carina. In the end of 2001 Corona was replaced with Toyota Premio. That model was sold in Japan only.
