Nissan Sentra

Nissan Sentra is a compact car, produced since 1982. Adjusted Japanese Nissan Sunny was sold under the name of Sentra until 2007, and at present, modified Bluebird Sylphy has taken its place. In the model range Sentra is between Versa/Pulsar and Altima/Teana.
Among the main competitors of Sentra there are Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Ford Focus, Chevrolet Cruze and many other compact cars yet.

Sentra engines mainly are not big. Till 2000 the subcompact class models were produced and they used small engines. Sentra B13 was often equipped with GA14, E16, GA16 and SR20. At present, this car is produced under the name Nissan Tsuru. For the next Sentra B14 GA16 and SR20 engines were used. In 2000 Sentra B15 appeared. It was larger and heavier, what let it change over to the compact class. This car was supplied with 1.8-liter QG18, 2.0L SR20 and 2.5L QR25 engines.
In 2007 Sentra B16 was developed on the platform Bluebird Sylphy. The car was equipped with such inline-4 cylinder engines as MR20DE and QR25DE. The production of Nissan Sentra B17 started in 2012 and it was supplied with naturally aspirated inline-4 cylinder HR16DE, MRA18DE and MR20DE engines.
