Nissan Pulsar

Introduction

Nissan Pulsar is a compact car, produced since 1978 and up to now. Depending on a country, it had different names. In Europe N13 and N14 generations were called Nissan Sunny, generation N15 was Nissan Almera, and in New Zealand all these versions were called Sentra. In Nissan model range, Pulsar is placed between Micra and Sentra.
Pulsar mainly competes with Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Mitsubishi Lancer and other similar.Nissan Pulsar GTI-R

For the period of manufacturing a lot of various engines were used for Nissan Pulsar, from small 1.0-liter to turbocharged 2-liter. The most powerful Pulsar GTi-R used famous SR20DET, but in its still more powerful version. And the rest engines were common GA13, GA14, GA15, GA16 and SR18. There is also Pulsar VZR with high-rev naturally aspirated SR16VE engine. Besides the gasoline engines, Pulsar was also equipped with the diesel, such as CD17 and CD20. Pulsar C13 used turbocharged 1.6-liter MR16DDT and 1.2-liter HR12DDT engines, and also diesel Renault K9K.
