Lexus ES is a large mid-size front-wheel drive sedan, available since 1989, when the company was founded. By 2006, in the domestic Japanese market, this car was sold under the name Toyota Windom. This car uses Toyota K platform known for the following cars: Toyota Camry, Avalon, Highlander, Sienna, Venza, Lexus RX, and others. In the Lexus model range, ES model occupies a position between IS and GS, the more expensive RWD model.
